Entrant Information

Confirmation of registration
After a successful registration you will receive a confirmation of participation via e-mail or post approximately one week prior to the MUNICH MARATHON. Please bring this confirmation to the pick-up of your starter documents.

Starter documents
You will receive your starter documents on presentation of your confirmation of registration at the pick-up of the starter documents at the marathon expo from October 12^th until October 14^th 2012.

Eligibility
All runners that were born in 1994 or before can participate. A membership in a club is not necessary. Participation with other sports equipment is not allowed.

Sections and distances

Runner 1: Start/Ackermannstraße until Biedersteiner Straße	6.8 kilometers
Runner 2: Biedersteiner Straße until Vollmannstraße	14 kilometers
Runner 3: Vollmannstraße until Odeonsplatz	10.8 kilometers
Runner 4: Odeonsplatz until finishing line/Olympic Stadium	10.6 kilometers

Handover points

1. location Biedersteiner Straße / Mannlichstraße	approx. 300 meters U-Bahn line 6	Stop Dietlindenstraße
2. location Vollmannstraße / Denninger Straße	approx. 450 meters U-Bahn line 4	Stop Richard-Strauss-Straße
3. location Odeonsplatz	approx. 20 meters U-Bahn line 3/4/5/6	Stop Odeonsplatz

The chips will only be handed over at the handover points. The handover points are marked with signs and divided into starter blocks. Do the handovers in your block (depending on your starting number). The locations of the handover points can be reached easily with public transportation.

Health check
Our recommendation for all runners: Perform a health check!
Runners, who do not want to risk their health during the training or the race, should have themselves examined at least once per year. Start the race well trained and completely healthy.

Food and drinks
As a relay runner you will receive food and drinks at the handover points or at the finishing line.
At the finishing line in the Olympic Stadium, you will be offered water, electrolyte drinks as well as ERDINGER alcohol free beer. There will be a rich sports buffet as a refreshment for all runners.

Noodle party
You can pre-order a voucher for a plate of noodles for 5.00 euros* directly with your registration to redeem at the noodle party from October 12^th 2012 until October 14^th 2012 in the Event Arena (Sports Café).

Results / certificates
The result lists will be available for download in the internet immediately after the event. Every finisher has the possibility to download his or her certificate at: www.muenchenmarathon.de Certificates will not be sent.

Finisher medal
All four medals will be handed over to the last runner at the finishing line.

Medal engraving
On the day of the marathon after the race you can have your name and racing time engraved on your medal for a price of 8.00 euros*. The stand is located directly next to the chip return at the marathon expo.

Photo and video service
At the latest 4 days after the event, personal photos and your personal video can be seen and ordered at www.marathon-photos.com.
