The starting number/registration confirmation entitles you to free rides within the whole MVV area. For further information on transport connections please see www.mvv-muenchen.de.
The changing rooms are at the Werner-von-Linde-Halle in the Olympic Park (next to the Olympic Stadium). Showers are available free of charge at the warm-up-area next to the Werner-von-Linde-Halle in the Olympic Park from noon to 5 p.m.

Pacemakers are on duty at the 24th MUNICH MARATHON at the following times: 3:00 hrs, 3:15 hrs, 3:30 hrs, 3:45 hrs, 4:00 hrs, 4:15 hrs and 4:30 hrs. The meeting points with the respective times are indicated at the starting blocks. Each pacemaker wears a T-Shirt with the anticipated finish time and is recognizable from the runners' crowd by coloured balloons.
All refreshment points will only be on the right-hand side. The first refereshment-station with Water and mineral drinks is placed at Kilometre 4,5. From Kilometre 8 there are refreshment-points every 2,5 Kilometres. From Kilometre 13 bananas are served additionally at the refreshment-stations (every 5 Kilometres).
What would Munich be without beer? Alcohol-free beer is offered between Kilometer 37 and 38 as well as at the finish line.
An elaborate athlete's buffet awaits the participants at the finish line in the Olympic Stadium.
Depositing of your own drinks (plastic bottles only) is possible at the information desk at the Marathon expo on Friday, October 08th and Saturday, October 08th, 2010. On Sunday, October 10th, 2010, depositing is only possible before 8.30 a.m. The own bottles are deposited at the front of the refreshment-stations on a separate table. The organiser does not assume liability in case of loss or damage.

Massages by our physical therapy team are available free of charge after the run at the Werner-von-Linde-Halle in the Olympic Park (next to the Olympic Stadium).
The results lists can be downloaded on the internet directly after the event. Each finisher has the opportunity to print his/her certificate on the internet at www.muenchenmarathon.de - certificates will not be sent.Stadium.
(Folklore run)The first Munich costume run is international, friendly and traditional. Runners of all nations and states are called on to run a six kilometer route in their national dress on the day before the marathon. The course leads to a section of the former marathon route from Willi-Gebhardt-Ufer in Olympic Park up to the Nymphenburger Schloss and back again. This is not about a fast time (no time measurement!) but more about friendship, sport and fun.
Participation in the Trachtenlauf München is free of charge.
Afterwards, there is a Bavarian Breakfast in Olympic Park with Weißwurst (Bavarian veal sausage), pretzels and beer. If you would like to take part in this, you can order for 5.00 euros* this right with your registration.
With your registration for the event, you can also reserve and order your running shirt of the MUNICH MARATHON 2010. The number of shirts is limited. You will receive the shirt you have ordered with your startnumber on the marathon expo.
You can have your name and racing time engraved on your medal for a price of 8 Euros*. The stand is located directly next to the chip return at the marathon trade fair.
