Confirmation of registration
After a successful registration you will receive a confirmation of participation via e-mail or post approximately one week prior to the MUNICH MARATHON. Please bring this confirmation to the pick-up of your starter documents.
Starter documents
You will receive your starter documents on presentation of your confirmation of registration at the pick-up of the starter documents at the marathon expo from October 12th until October 14th 2012.

Eligibility
All runners that were born in 1994 or before can participate. A membership in a club is not necessary. Participation with other sports equipment is not allowed.
Health check
Our recommendation for all runners: Perform a health check!
Runners, who do not want to risk their health during the training or the race, should have themselves examined at least once per year. Start the race well trained and completely healthy.
Clothing drop off
You can drop off your sports bags at the Olympic Stadium and pick them up at the same place on presentation of your starting number. The clothing drop off for the marathon runners is on level 0 of the Olympic Stadium, from block A to block X.
Pacemaker
There will be pacemaker for the following marathon finishing times at the 27th MUNICH MARATHON: 3.00, 3.30, 3.45, 4.00, 4.15 and 4.30 hours. Every pacemaker will be wearing a starting number with the particular racing time and will be marked with colorful balloons.

Food and drinks
The first refreshment station with water and mineral drinks is at km 4. Starting at kilometer 8, there will be refreshment and water stations at every 2.5 kilometers. Starting at km 13 all refreshment stations will additionally also offer bananas and energy bars.
Food and drinks at the finishing line
A rich sports buffet is expecting the participants at the finishing line in the Olympic Stadium.
Private refreshments
You have the possibility to drop off your own drinks (exclusively in plastic bottles!) at the information stand at the marathon expo on the 12th and 13th of October 2012. On the 14th of October, a drop off is only possible until 08:30. The organizer accepts no liability in case of loss or damage.
Private refreshments will be placed at the beginning of the refreshment stations (only on the right side) and on a separate table – at km 4, km 7, km 14, km 18, km 22.5, km 27.5, km 33 and km 40.
Noodle party
You can pre-order a voucher for a plate of noodles for 5.00 euros* directly with your registration to redeem at the noodle party from October 12th 2012 until October 14th 2012 in the Event Arena (Sports Café).
Results / certificates
The result lists will be available for download in the internet immediately after the event. Every finisher has the possibility to download his or her certificate at: www.muenchenmarathon.de/ Certificates will not be sent.
Finisher medal
Every finisher receives a medal at the finishing line.
Medal engraving
On the day of the marathon after the race you can have your name and racing time engraved on your medal for a price of 8.00 euros*. The stand is located directly next to the chip return at the marathon expo.
Photo and video service
At the latest 4 days after the event, personal photos and your personal video can be seen and ordered at www.marathon-photos.com.
