General terms and conditions and important details
After registration has taken place, no claim exists to reimbursement of the participant fee or issue of a starter voucher for later events - not even for sickness.
Payment of the organization fee through issue of a one-time direct debit authorization or through credit card. Erroneous data and the administrative fees accruing from it are charged to the participant.
You will receive a confirmation of participation one week before the event by e-mail or by mail. Please bring the confirmation to the starting documents counter.

Eligibility requirements/disclaimer
If the organizer, without intent on his part or due to gross negligence, is obligated in events of force majeure or due to official directives or for safety reasons, to make changes in the management of the event or to cancel the event, there is no liability for damages for the organizer vis-à-vis the participant. The organizer is not liable for property or financial damage caused by caused by him, his legal representatives or his assistants that is not grossly negligent or intentional. The organizer, his legal representatives or his assistants are liable for damages from injury to life, limb or health only with fault.

Declaration of consent of the participant
In the event of my participation in the MUNICH MARATHON, I recognize the preceding liability exclusion formulated by the organizer. I will make no claims against the organizer, the sponsors of the run, against the city of Munich or against owners of private pathways or their representatives due to damages or injuries of any kind, which can develop through my participation in the run. The condition for participation in this competition is sufficient training and physical health. I assert that I have undergone a physical checkup in preparation for my participation. I also assert that I am not taking any drugs (see information of the NADA (Die Nationale Anti Doping Agentur (the National Anti-Drug Agency) at www.nada-bonn.de), that my birth year is correct and that I will not give my starting number to any other person. I agree that the photos, shots or interviews made of me at the event may be used in radio, television, advertising or books without a claim for remuneration on my part. I understand that I will be disqualified, if I leave or shorten the course of the officially measured marathon route or use technical equipment (auto, bicycle, public transportation, etc.). I understand that I will be disqualified, if I alter the official starting number in any way, in particular if I hide or distort the advertising print or if I am accompanied by persons on bicycles or the like. In the event of my non-participation (sickness, business trip, etc.), no claim to reimbursement of the participant fee exists, unless the organizer is responsible for my non-participation.
The jurisdiction is Munich.
