Organization fee HALF MARATHON
until June 30th, 2012: 43.00 euros
until Sept. 25th, 2012: 49.00 euros
Important! After the registration is completed, no claims can be raised to refund the participation fee or issue a starter voucher for a later event - not even in case of illness.
Exception: You have taken out a starting-withdrawal-protection when registering for the MUNICH MARATHON 2012.
Please note: If you cannot participate for any reason, do not give your starter number to any other person. Passing on your starter number could possibly put another person in danger.
Payment of organization fee
Payment is made by bank transfer or credit card. There is a processing fee of 3% with payment by credit card. Any administrative fees accruing from erroneous information are the responsibility of the participant. You will receive a confirmation of registration via e-mail or post at least one week before the event. Please bring this confirmation to the pick-up of your starter documents.
Late registrations
Late registrations are possible at the MUNICH MARATHON Expo in the Event Arena in Olympic Park for a price of 75 euros.
Friday, October 12th 2012 from 11:00 until 20:00
Saturday, October 13th 2012 from 10:00 until 19:00 and
Sunday, October 14th 2012 from 08:00 until 09:30
The measurement system
The measurement of the time is solely carried out via the ChampionChip. The ChampionChip is an electronic transponder attached to your racing shoe that measures your personal racing time.
At about 50 % of all racing events in Germany and all major marathon races around the world, the times are determined via ChampionChip. Please attach the chip firmly to the lacing on the instep of your shoe (do not attach with metal), as otherwise no measurement of time will be made.
No time measurement or ranking without a chip!
The organization fee of the MUNICH MARATHON includes:

What happens if you fall ill shortly before the event?
Your starter costs (organization fee) will be paid back to you not only in case of illness but also in case of an accident, unemployment or considerate damage to your property.

Medal engraving
You can have your name and racing time engraved on your medal for a price of 8.00 euros*. The stand is located directly next to the chip return at the marathon expo.
Noodle party
You can pre-order a voucher for a plate of noodles for 5.00 euros* directly with your registration to redeem at the noodle party from October 12th 2012 until October 14th 2012 in the Event Arena (Sports Café).
